Colours and printing
When sending artwork to us, it is important to remember that our printers operate in CMYK process colour (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black).
Your monitor, printer, scanner and computer usually create images using a combination of three RGB screen colours (Red, Green, Blue). To ensure that the printing we complete for you is the same as your image, please convert your images to CMYK. The conversion from RGB to CMYK is best done in Adobe Photoshop, before we receive the file. This will ensure that your images are as vibrant as you planned.

Photographs
To ensure quality and vividness of photographs and images please follow these guidelines:
- If sending us scanned photographs, please save them as EPS or TIFF files, this helps to preserve the colour and clarity of the images.
- When scanning images consider the final size of the print. Always scan photographs at a minimum of 300dpi and final size.
- We can accept images with a final resolution of 80dpi, if they are to appear on a large format product such as banners and posters.
- Please don't enlarge scanned images in your drawing or vector software. This is best done in an image package such as Adobe Photoshop.
Text
To ensure that the text appears how your design requires, please include on your disk all fonts used, or convert all of your text to paths.
We can only use Mac fonts for Mac files and PC fonts for PC files. To allow us to check that fonts comply with your design please provide us with a hard copy of your artwork.
